How to Calculate the Value of a Home in Terms of Various Properties
The building block to these large models is linear algebra. You want to have matrices multiplying vectors. Let's just look at a simple example of say say you want to predict the price of a home in terms of various properties. In that case variables like square footage are being assigned weights that reflect their importance in determining the value of a house. So that is an example where a matrix multiplication takes in the input features which are whatever the square feet location.
