The Importance of Apps in Mobile Web Design

I've been doing lots of strategy work recently about responsive or pertaining to responsive design at least with mobile strategies for various companies of different sizes. And it seems that everybody is moving in the direction of not building apps, but rather building websites as well. Then out of the blue comes Jacob Nilsen with his latest alert box article actually claiming that apps are still the best and everybody should still be doing apps. My take on this being that what's he been smoking? This is notJacob Nilsen. No, I got quite frustrated with this article because it's kind of saying what you're doing,. We're just getting, you know, trying to convince people that the mobile web
