The Role of Judge Cole in the Judiciary
Judge Cole: I think we're very fortunate actually to have the expansion that has occurred over the last 40 or 50 years or so. It really goes back to something on the one of the earlier panelists mentioned about you know one of the things that lifetime tenure promotes is the ability to develop the expertise and the deep thought and understanding in the law. That's an important part of judicial independence as well.
