In the late 70s, there was a real recession in the music industry and that it was unusual because the record industry always made its money by reselling its technology. I wanted to work on identity projects and that was what I could do in my own business. So Terry was an old friend of mine from college and he had a magazine background. He was the art director of the Boston Globe. We started a company together.
