The Political Implications of Trump's Indictments

The former president has said multiple times in the last week and change that he just needs one more indictment to cinch the 2024 race. But it seems like the indictments are emboldening him, but I think the more he talks about the case, the more things happen not in his favor either through pretrial rulings or later on convictions. If those happen, that may begin to chip away at everything but the die-hard base - only a third of Republican primary voters.
