The Limits to Growth report was published six months after it was presented at the Club of Rome in Canada. The authors were approached by Don Lech, a former spy who had been on Nixon's National Security Council before resigning over Cambodia invasion. Their names later turned up on Nixon's infamous enemies list. It is so obvious that we cannot continually and exponentially go as we are doing now, they say.
