I was expecting it to be more like, you know, Breitbart's read book. What fascinated me about a lot of these characters that you profile is how disillusioned they became in many instances with their own movement. I would say that Angela Davis, for all of her faults, which are numerous, and for all the damage that she's done, is significant. And then on the other side, I think Derek Bell, the godfather of critical race theory, was just the most disappointing person. He believed in colorblind equality,. he believed in desegregation, he believed that blacks even in the deep south should be pursuing this vision of integration toward the great American ideals of liberty and equality
