Do We Have One More Case or Do We Want to Just Cheap It?
The 11th circuit ruled that you can't have ineffective assistance of counsel when it comes to a plea deal if you were never offered the plea. This case is fun because it's about within plea bargains. It really is sort of this appeal of last resort. So I'm going to keep this one in my pocket. The other 49 states get their money. And here you have Jackson and Sotomayor dissenting from a denial of certiorari.
