i think one way that i got ahead in my early years was by being unkind to myself. And so it was all, none of it was really built on kindness. It was much more built on a ah ego,. this overwhelming desire to prove that i was lovable, admirable, smart, ah, impressive. But also, i think what's really interesting about that line from hawkins is hi ays, simple kindnessto oneself and all that lives, iis the most transformational force of all.
