The Boone and Crockett Club
The founding of the boone and crocket club in 18 87 helped lead the charge in a new, growing wave of conservationism. The membership included prominent businessmen, politicians, artists and scientists unanimously voted roosevelt their club president. As poaching, logging and business interests threatened to destroy yellowstone national park following the capture of poacher e howl, President grover cleveland signed a bill for the protection of yellowstone. But what was good for humans wasn't necessarily good for the environment.
