The War on Christmas
The war on christmas was basically how the american colonies were founded. The puritans thought that it was too pagan. And then you have, like, by the mid 16 hundreds, boston outlaws christmas. They just aw any celebration of the holiday because they see it as too much of a pagan ritual and not true enough to their religion. So they just ex the whole thing out.
