Sensationalization

Sri: I have thought a lot about this in the context of TV media at least that there is so much sensationalized 9pm news. But yeah, like sensationalization could be an effect of information over load. Can you think of any social media platform which is using insights from these mechanisms to sort of change their user experience or something like that? Sri: These are all in the nation stage and we don't have much visibility into what is exactly being done and why at least I don't.
