How to Build a Product on a Freemium Model
In a PLG motion, the sales force is essentially a self-serve funnel. It's comprised of a website, a product, and possibly support as well. The key is to constantly adjust the fulcrum so everyone who has the problem understands this is a solution that meets that. In Gramley's case, it took us three years to build the first version of our freemium model.
