Wycliffe's Influence in Bohemia
The Lawlards were a fringe movement and Wycliffe's ideas only had limited influence. They met in secret and continued their traditions right up until the English Reformation began under Henry VIII a century later. Ironically, Wycliffe's views proved most influential in Bohemia, clear across Europe. Jan Hous was already a prolific preacher and a vocal reformer at the University of Prague before he was exposed to Wycliffe's idea around 1408.
