Is Initiating Collaborations Healthy?
What are the kinds of themes that an advisor could do to encourage collaboration that's healthy? I think one thing is being supportive of interactions across institutions and beyond your lab, right? So you sometimes people are very hesitant to have collaborations. But if you give enough freedom to your students for collaborating outside of your lab, then these collaborations can happen very naturally.
