The Paradox of Data Protection in the Indian Supreme Court

The DPA can search any premises of a company that is collecting data. So you're creating a regulatory authority that's going to be more powerful than all the businesses who are apparently violating your privacy. And like you said, that's the paradox. A lot of the offenses are non-balable. The harms are generally occurring when you collect data without consent and then that leads to harm.
