How to Clear a Common Bought Bone Duct Stone

There are several accepted approaches and there's a lot of variability between institutions but in general, if you have a really strong suspicion, so say the common bowel duct stone is seen on imaging or there is clinical evidence of colonnitis or bilirubin of greater than three. You could also do IOC intraoperatively and also consider a common bowel duct exploration if ERCP is not available. Here both MRCP and just a laparoscopic cholecystectomy with intraoperative colangiogram would be acceptable answers.
