What Does It Mean to Speak Up?
The next one is to speak up. And it can literally mean that the person wants you to speak loudly, or to speak louder, because they can't hear what you're saying. But another way, of another meaning of speak up is to say something to defend a person. So for example, i want to use a public transport, on trains. We often see in australia anyway, like, i'm not sure what happens in london and and in the states, but there's a lot of mean people out there.
