Building Trust With a Baby
Being consistently available within reason is all that's needed. Leaving baby to cry for a few minutes while you take care of your own basic needs isn't going to negatively affect this process. There is enough other positive interactions for building trust, the cuddling,. the feeding, the cooing, the making faces that's going to override that. So just know that if your baby's crying, I know it feels horrible andI know it feels hard. But you got to get to the doctor's office because that's important for long term health.
