What I Like About Scarlet Ink
i like the sentence because i think the verb oozing is a really a great verb as in a written medium. And so this is when he's discovering that he can speak to tom riddle through the diary. He he writes his question in scarlet ink, very appropriately, blood colored ink, which is absorbed and sinks into the diary and then comes back to him as a response. But the reason i like it kind of thematically, or in terms of its meaning, is so much of of how we understand ourselves happens in conversations with others. That something about that space between i find really rich and interesting.
