Quality Versus Quantity Matters

There's the idea that it takes ten thousand hours to become an expert in anything. We've got to put in the time to get good at this thing we want to do. But even at that, quality matters in how those many hours are used. So if you're practising sloppy playing of the piano, or sloppy painting of pictures, or sloppy writing, all those many hours of doing is what will become permanent in your life. And so only perfect, practice makes perfect.
