TJ: I think we have another really interesting case. Simone Natale just put out a book about a year ago called Deceitful Media. We do this kind of banal deceiving as part of the social glue that holds us together. The question is, can an AI or a robot engage in Deceit? But if the algorithm knows nothing, can it even deceive? Is that operative even for something that has no connection to what it knows to be true, but nevertheless says differently?
