Is It Tough for Kids Today?

It's tough for kids nowadays, isn't it? Oh, absolutelyit's not easy. You know, there is no getting away from it. Unless the system changes, then how are we going to help these kids? Haven't we altered our understanding of what depression is? If you look historically, a depression as as a really severe impairing condition was quite rare. And in actuality, almost everybody is going to go through something in their lifetime in some episode. But now we're describing the normal ranges of adversity as a medical illness. Really its kind of industry driven and its media driven.
