Is There a Coal Boom in Africa?
There's no coal boom in africa. The only country that has a coal production to a significant degree is south africa. Three point eight million people a year die prematurely from the effects of indoor air pollution caused by burning wood, charcoal, animal dung or coal indoors. And i think these efforts to ban the financing of natural gas projects in africa are largely to africans from a poverty perspective and from a health perspective.
