Making Your Assumptions Explicit

Inference makes it very, very easy to see what your assumptions are. And something that i think is very much in favor of baon inference is that you actually have to make your assumptions explicit. By by looking how those assumptions affect your analysis, both with the data that you collected and with simulated data, you really get a sense of what those assumptions mean in a mathematical setting. Once you finally get over that hump, you just see these assumptions everywhere, and all you want to do share and discuss, which is a remarkable thing.
