The Gold Standard for Recovery

The most common question i've been getting about zone is unequivocally, how do you know you're in zone too if you haven't measured your heart? You don't have a heart ad monitor. Its like, just wear what's comfortable to you and and go get it done. The human body is such a squishy combination of thousands of systems working at once that we are still trying to validate recovery metrics by simply against the gold standard of asking athletes on how they feel. Self observation gives you those numbers, by all means, you can now use the numbers, but it's got to start with self observation.
