In the 1970s, a Jewish scholar as in a scholar of Judaism and is Jewish herself called Judith Plaskow wrote this story. In it, Lilith flees the garden when she is denied equality with her husband Adam. She refuses sex with Adam because she doesn't want to. And then she will go off and have sex with other men, with demons. The last line is God and Adam were both expectant and afraid.
