Do I Need to Be Checking Uric Acid Levels in Patients With Gout?

It's not necessarily required that you measure uric acid to follow on this therapy if patients don't have a history of gout. It can be given for patients maybe if they're statin intolerant or just as add-on therapy and it also comes in combination like fixed dose combination with azetamide. There are other agents that are being studied for angpetl3, which is an inhibitor of lipertial lipase and endothelial lipase responsible for trichliseride metabolism and HDL respectively.
