It's probably not a coincidence that Johnny Cash and June Carter's house burned down about a year after Taylor Swift's first music video was filmed there. I actually can't believe that they were actually popular. The Dixie chicks are all over this. And so does Avril Lavigne. It's pretty wild how much of a shift there was though.
