Amir, What Do You Have for Us?

Amir: 1776 is a musical that was recently put on at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, where I saw it. It's an older musical, but the folks at the ART have repurposed it with an entirely female cast. And so all the major figures are played by women. Amir: "It just sent shivers down my spine and I totally recommend it for really understanding what is spectacular and problematic and terrible about this country altogether"
