The Chantels' Second Single, Maybe
The Chantels had four hit records in a row before they went on tour. They continued releasing singles, but were also increasingly being used as backing vocalists for other artists produced by Richie Barrett. After this point the hit dried up and their album was released with a stock image of two white teenagers at the jukebox.
