What's the Difference Between 1989 and 2022?
I first went to China in December 1989, so six months after Tiananmen Square and what happened on June 4th. There are some similarities in the one sense of like, wow, this is happening across the country. In Tiananmen and in the run up to Tiananmen, it was in the democracy movement back then. And at this point, seeing that right now is very urban ledRight now in these protests in China. So we've seen protests in Wuhan where COVID was first detected. We've seen it in Shanghai,. Beijing, Urumqi, Guangzhou and some of those others. Have not seen it in second, third, fourth-tier cities
