Theology of Policy Judgments on Climate Change
The National Association of Evangelicals, which represents some 45,000 churches, put out a study on climate change activism. The argument was that it had already been settled and that this is a matter of loving your neighbor. Part of the Great Commission is lobbying for climate change regulation. If you don't show that Christians are smart enough and plugged in enough to understand what's causing some weather changes, then that's going to damage the reputation of Christ.
