Reptiles Are Very Specific

Turtles are targeted by poachers for their meat and eggs. One turtle was found with a hole in its head after being attacked by dogs. The vet had to find other ways of euthonizing the animal, including drilling into her brain. It is not easy or safe to anestasise turtles because they are very specific.
