The Role of Sports in Conservation
The biggest threat is not the rangers trying to stop them. It's the animals they're trying to poach, he says. Sports has been a recent one that we've got involved with 33 soccer teams, 17 netball teams. We had a massive downturn in crime during local crime and budgeting because people with busy training and playing sport. And so it does all do it motivates us more to keep evolving our program.
