Sally Kohn: Republicans talk as if Trump has already been convicted, right? Civics 101 and indictment just means that there's sort of more or less probable cause against you to have a trial. She says the GOP is making this noise because my thought is they don't think there's a chance in the world that they can win in a trial. Kohn: For Trump, this is just about trying to win an election in 2024 and not have to face the music of this. It's why they're arguing for a delayed trial.
