Idimin, a New Black Military Star, Will Face a Court Martial
A court martial is pending for Idiamin, a senior officer in the Ugandan army. 118 takana tribespeople are killed under his orders after being crowded into cages on top of each other and left to suffocate in the fierce sun. If found guilty he will be facing a death sentence. But bringing one of ganda's new black military stars to book for such a crime, the optics are bad. The relationship between these two northerners will shape decades of ugande history. They eventually fall out, the effect will ripple out far across the savannah.
