How to Negotiate a Good Deal With an Unsophisticated Seller

I was trained to never put the price first. This is my number one rule of negotiations. You may come across an unsophisticated seller. If they're almost always or priorities outside of just transaction value, rarely are they going to simply say, I want to maximize purchase price. That allows you to put the pieces together so they can be known where you should really bid without risking kissing them off.
