Kasima and Delphine Sat in the Kitchen, Ignoring the Text Message.
Kasima's phone dinged, a new text message from Kira. Would it be okay if I did something other than the assigned topic? Kasima remembered being a teenager well enough to know that if she wasn't cool, Kira would stop confiding in her. There was a new email too, a student with an excuse for needing extra time on a paper. The only devious plan I have is to keep one eye on the news while I grade papers. Have fun fighting for justice or whatever.
