The Antagonist's Midpoint

The antagonist will probably make some sort of move against the protagonist. He might not have much more figured out than the protagonist, but he is one step ahead of the game. The mid point signals a major shift in the conflict. Not all stories well demand that the protagonist's victory must come by way of the antagonists defeat.
