What's the Impact on Others?

Well it's all rather individualised but the basic premise that we work from is that lessons shouldn't be interrupted. The behaviour the teacher would send for would use his or her phone to send a behaviour referral through to what we call our first responders. There are people who are employed to go and assist that child to come out of the classroom and to discuss his or her feelings about what led them to feel the way they did prior to them acting out. They might be prepared to move into a different space to work with a staff member about talking through their feelings, then they'd work into a reflection area where they can talk about what they could do differently next time.
