Don't Stop at Lincoln!

March 28th was good Friday, so Walter had no opportunity to continue his inquiry until the following Monday. On that day, he boarded in Cambridge as always and took his seat at the back of the train. This time, he would be forceful in inquiring about Mel. Then, in Lincoln, he would stop in the shops by the station to ask about the woman. Surely, she had made some small purchases there. A newspaper, or mens, perhaps even medicine at the pharmacy. She would be remembered.
