The Police Work in the Case of Steven's Murder

A woman that could have been a vital witness tried getting in contact with police three times in the days following Steven's murder. All of her calls were missed or ignored. Less than half of the officers put onto the Stephen Lawrence case actually knew how to use the home system. It meant that a lot of information and leads and people's numbers and witness statements and things like that were just going missing. And it just made the case so much harder than it needed to be.
