As I've gotten older I've actually gotten better at saying yes. You have to say no to most things. Even even the sort of serendipitous fun crazy experiences that like, you know, let's say you're moving across the country for a new job. That's a big yes but you wouldn't have been disciplined over the course of your career if you hadn't taken on so many other big commitments. So it's this paradox of not doing things, and also doing other things.
