One place where it sometimes can go wrong is someone was successful as a provost, but may not be a fit for the presidency. It's always struck me sort of an interesting challenge within hired that most people who choose to be faculty probably are not thinking about then becoming leaders inside hiered. And so, you know, curious how you think about those transitions, and how people develop the skill sets for the next piecet.
