Intuitive Decisions Are Only Ever Good
There's a prominent German jurist at the head of a Max Planck Institute who says that institutions should encourage their employees wherever possible to make decisions intuitively. Which doesn't mean you don't think at all, That's not my point. But doing a shoelaces up, if you think about it, because we're more difficult. And I think part of the worry is that we will jump to conclusions actually in the way that the left hemisphere does. You know we'll make quick and dirty judgments, but actually it turns out we're not that stupid.
