The Importance of Responsibility in German Citizens

In a MondoWise article in an off-record commented journalist Israeli Berlin embassy spokeswoman Adi Farjahan said that Israel had an interest to maintain German guilt feelings because without them Israel would be just another country as far as they're concerned. In Germany definitely they instill fear and I said that Germans are afraid to think for themselves they're afraid of their own shadow but even in general I think that you know fear is a debilitating factor it kind of suppresses you from actually taking action while the opposite to that is actually taking responsibility which is actually encouraging us to take action so for Germans and also for Israelis there's a lot of guilt involved this like this sense of guilt.
