The Stoics would say you know learning to moderate other desires and manage them. The Pythia like the Pythoness was a woman called the high priestess of Apollo who made pronouncements that people would go away in Anteopra. Gennoth Icy outon which means no I say off became a maxim of Socrates in Greek philosophy in general. Medinagan which means nothing over much or nothing in excess now relates to non-attachment. Overconfidence or intellectual conceit leads to catastrophe in life right?
