The Importance of Equal Opportunity in Women's Sports
David Frum recently wrote a column about the legal aspects of transgender participation in women's sports. He said Title IX has been credited with increasing, being indispensable, increase women's participation and access to education. If biological sex is best explained by gender rather than identity, he says, then any rule that wipes out biological sex as the determining factor will undermine both the practical and legal basis for women’s sports.
