The PWC SAGR Scandal Has Hit the Industry
A Singaporean-based manager will take the reins locally. The firm's global chair, Bob Moritz, said PWC Australia had failed to meet the network's code of conduct and uphold the network's professional standards and values. It comes as the AFR reports that the local PWC business is planning to sell off its government consulting arm for $1 million. This is happening while the firm is trying to convince dozens of partners to move into retirement. That scandal has triggered the inquiry by the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services.
